In December 2009 I decided to set up my own extablishment in Basingstoke. Up to then, my horses had been on livery with the Fredericks and Coral Keen, which meant that I used the 'yard products'. I am excited by the prospect of selecting and working with new suppliers.

Although my yard is starting small, with only four horses, they are four very special and talented advanced eventers, each with their own specific needs. It is very important that I get all the elements of the jigsaw right- a huge responsibility!

I have decided to set up a diary here giving my personal experience using some of those crucial building blocks that are so essential to the health and comfort of a successful event horse.
