Last year was Alex's first time to compete at the Mitsubishi Badminton Horse Trials. In 2010 Alex plans to take Magenta and ESB Irish Fiddle to the event, which takes place every spring by kind permission of His Grace the Duke of Beaufort, MFH, on the wonderful estate of Badminton House. Cross-country day has one of the largest spectator attendance figures in the world for a yearly sporting event as hundreds of thousands flock to watch. The 2011 event will be held Easter weekend, with dressage on the Friday/Saturday, Cross-country on Sunday and Showjumping on the Monday holiday.
